Meditation

The practice of stilling or quieting the mind can lead to tremendous health benefits, from physical to mental, emotional and spiritual. Taking the time each day to sit within your stillness is a powerful tool, available anytime to anyone willing to put in the practice. Meditation can also keep you calm and free from exhaustion in these stressful times. Please choose from the following list of meditation styles offered at Kashi:

  • Beginners Meditation
  • Kundalini Meditation
  • Breath Work
  • Sat Nam Rasayan (using awareness to heal the body)
  • Kirtan & Chanting (devotional singing)

The grounds of Kashi will soon become one of your favorite places to practice. Make an appointment, and you are welcome to roll out your mat and sit by the river, the central Ganga pond, or any of the serene areas of the ashram that calls to you.

Our studio classes/rentals are open to the public and you are welcome to join in our programs  or we can arrange a private session based on your personal practice, in a style of your preference. If you would like guidance on what styles of meditation are right for you, we can arrange an individualized consultation walking you through our class schedule and other treatments/offerings.
