Yoga

For over thirty years, members of the Kashi community have been practicing various styles of yoga and meditation, in pursuit of inner truth and compassion.  We encourage you to join us.

Practicing Yoga is an opportunity to integrate both the spiritual and physical aspects of an ancient, Hindu discipline involving focus on breathing, meditation, and movement. Through daily classes and in-depth yoga teacher trainings, Kashi Ashram offers an array of yoga styles suited for all levels. With people of diverse backgrounds the community is steeped in an assortment yoga and meditation styles, and it is a joy for us to share these practices. Kashi School of Yoga includes the following classes:

While on Kashi we encourage you to try one of our many Kali Natha Yoga classes. This unique yoga has been developed over the course of more than 30 years by Kashi Ashram founder, Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati. Kali Natha Yoga is comprised of many unique flow series that include classical asanas, pranayama, mudras, mantras and meditations.
